Pedro The Pitcher’s Second Chance: Responsibility

The All-Stars have won three games in a row and the pressure is on Pedro the pitcher to beat the Tigers, a team they have lost to before. To beat the other team, Coach Threads works out different signals for Cathy the catcher to give Pedro. However, Pedro hasn’t been studying the signals and throws the wrong pitch several times. When Coach Threads calls him on it, Pedro blames Cathy and the rest of the team instead of taking personal responsibility. When Pedro finally accepts that it was his responsibility to pay attention, the team pulls together and has a better game. Pedro learns that being responsible means responding to the ability he has, and being there for the team who depends upon him to know the right signals.
